Why do we bring our offering?

It doesn't save us!

That's right!  You CANNOT buy God.  In fact, the salvation He offers is completely FREE, in Christ!  (Ephesians 2:8-10) Therefore, we give not to get BUT in response to what God has already done for us.

It sets our HOPE in eternity

What are you looking to for Hope?  When we give we indicate to our own hearts what we place our hope in! (1 Timothy 6:6-19, Matthew 6:19-21)

We are not in bondage!

We have not set our hearts on money or stuff that can neve fully and finally satisfy.  Money is not our God or idol! (Matthew 6)

Because we get to!

Have you ever thought about the fact that the God of ALL CREATION allows us to give!  That is amazing...so we get to give and we do so with great joy! (2 Corinthians 8-9)
